Let me start by saying that typically, I am not drawn to romance novels. They often feel too cheesy and predictable, which tends to frustrate me. But this book completely changed my perspective. I read it in one sitting, and I loved every moment of it. The story follows Neil and Rowan, academic rivals who are co-presidents of their senior class. Their rivalry comes to a head when they both compete for the title of valedictorian. When Neil is named valedictorian, Rowan’s last chance to one-up him is the "Howl" game—an exciting senior tradition that sends participants racing all over Seattle. However, when it’s revealed that both Rowan and Neil are targets in the game, they must team up to win. The catch? They’re still rivals at heart, making it a complicated partnership. What makes this story stand out is how simple yet complex it is. At first, it seems like a straightforward competition, but the deeper emotional layers of trust, rivalry, and growth make it much more than that. The way Neil and Rowan must navigate their partnership is both beautiful and thrilling, and the twists along the way keep the reader hooked. This book captures a lot about the journey of today, tonight, and tomorrow. Today represents the intense rivalry and competition between Neil and Rowan, where each feels they must outdo the other. Tonight, their forced partnership brings new layers of collaboration and self-discovery, much like those moments in life when we have to work with others to succeed. Tomorrow, the conclusion of the game offers both resolution and personal growth, symbolizing how life’s challenges lead us to unexpected outcomes. In the end, this book is much more than a romance; it’s a story of personal evolution, friendship, and finding unexpected victories. It’s the kind of story that stays with you long after you’ve finished reading.

if "never have i ever" was a book!
I LOVE an "enemies to lovers" trope, but this takes the cake. two graduating high school seniors working together to win a competition, while also getting to really more about why their own rivalry began. rachel really nailed this book, almost as if she watched "never have i ever" from netflix! totally recommend if you love rivalries turned romance books!

ACADEMIC RIVALS was GREAT but..
they do the dirty later that same night she claims she hates him. what the heck. today she hates him, tonight they give their virginities to each other. The scene was even good and it seemed like the author itself didn’t want to write this scene. however this book did give us a good academic rivals i was just hoping that it was so rushed that the end. i do know and understand that the title is today, tonight, tomorrow but come on, was that scene really necessary? I would recommend this book because it isn’t a bad book, but personally i rated this book 2 stars because it felt rushed and many scenes weren’t necessary.
