Runs small in waist so great for skinny and tall

The color is cute, fabric feels pretty good, the waistband is good quality, length is good, but waist is small to size. My 10 year old, who is pretty tall for his age, couldn't fit the size 14 - the waist was very tight and he is not husky by any means. Length was good on him but the waist was just too tight.
