Faux-Shearling Moto Jacket, Created for Macy's

Web ID: 6979836Feels like a real shearling jacket
I love this jacket! I bought the XL and it fits perfectly. I'm a size 14 and I have big boobs, so I'm very glad that it fits over the 'girls' without a problem. The only problem I have with it is that the "fur" lining comes off on your clothes. Hopefully, it will stop doing that after a few more wears. The lining feels very, very soft like real fur and the jacket itself is a high-quality faux leather. I wore this to a party on a cold night and it kept me very warm (short-sleeved thin shirt underneath). There's a little belt-like closure by the neck that also helps keep you warm when it's fully zipped up. The silver is very eye-catching and I love the way it looks and feels.
Love It
Such a beautiful jacket and the price was right using my Rewards.
Silver fox
Love the jacket... runs true to size... very warm... I personally have not had any trouble with shedding ... also not super expensive .
Stylishly Different
Great jacket for the eclectic tastes! Runs to size (got an XL because I checked the size guide & know TH runs small on me); fits well over a medium weight acrylic sweater & probably a heavier one. Warm (but only wore in the house so far), sleeves just a tad long (I'm short) but I like the length, the arms are not tight at the shoulder or upper arm. I did not find that it shed, but did run a sticky roller type lint catcher over the entire lining, it barely picked anything up. Jacket is exactly as pictured, sort of a crinkly look in silver. The lining is part of the fabric, not sewn in. I didn't like the way the pockets are attached inside - just loose with a thin thread, so I put a dab of white wood glue on the folded-over silver part (you have to see it in person) and it's holding the pocket in place and I don't have to worry about the string/thread breaking (then the pocket would flap around. Also not to happy with the neck tab closing, the jacket looks better open or partially zipped to where the lapels fold over (oh, and the zipper is off to one side, not straight up from the belly button to the chin. See it in a store if you like it (my store had 1, in one size only, so I purchased online). It looks great with light blue jeans (like the photo), black or gray pants/jeans. And any silvery gray hair! Now to get up the courage to wear it outside the house :). Because you will have to have a certain cache to wear it! Highly recommend .
Keeping!
I was disappointed that this shed like crazy when I first brought this jacket home. But I loved it too much to return. I took a lent brush, the old school kind, to the lining and thoroughly brushed out all the fuzz. I first few times I wore it I would still see little fuzzies here and there, but I've worn it many times since and haven't noticed any lent. I always style it with lighter fabrics too so that helps. I get compliments every time I wear it. That and the fact the jacket was so affordable make this purchase worth it.
Lint Nightmare
This jacket sheds and not just a little. Wear it out, bring lint brushes not just for you but the friends the jacket will shed all over - what a mess. Returned.
NICE!
I needed a silver jacket but didn’t want anything too overpowering color wise and I also didn’t want to spend a lot of money. This jacket is perfect. I wear and XL ordered an XL and the fit is perfect even if your busty or a little pouchy in the middle. It is warm and the crackled leather look is definitely more subdued than a shiny silver. The sleeves fit with a heavy sweater on and the sleeves move with you. There is a pull tab at the collar so you can zip it up and use the tab to tighten it at the neck. It goes well with any color, including white boots/shoes if you own them. Did I mention the zippered pockets? If you’re on the fence I say go for it!
