This bag is great.
I love backpacks, and one of my dorky hobbies is watching backpack videos. Before I got a new one, I investigated more than 100 backpacks. This one is close to perfect. I'll start with the complaints, since I think that's what people are looking for when they read a review. 1. No hip belt. Lots of similar bags have a hip belt or removable hip belt. I do miss it when the bag is fully loaded. 2. Chest strap is a little fiddly. I'd prefer the magnetic or even plastic buckles I've seen elsewhere. 3. Water bottle holder is inelegant. If you are a daily water bottle person (like I am), you will have to have the side pouch permanently expanded, which affects the clean lines on the bag. It does work incredibly well, though — I was worried that my water bottle would fall out or slip around, and it really does not. The pros — really everything else. I love the thoughtful pockets. I found a spot for everything I owned incredibly quickly. There are more pockets than are shown in the video, and despite having only one "main" pocket (instead of two like many bags have with one large pocket and one "organizer" pocket), everything has stayed organized. The straps are well padded and comfortable. The zippers are a dream. The fabric is so strong and smooth. I thought I'd hate the top handles, but I actually love them — moving the bag around it is so convenient and doesn't require zipping everything up all the time. The expansion works well and isn't clunky or ugly. And when it's not expanded, you don't even realize it's there. There's a little loop on the side that's perfect for hanging a baggage tag or a neck pillow. My partner thought it would look like I was a pilot for a regional airliner, but he agrees it's very good looking. I don't look like I'm going to middle school or on a hike. I just look like an adult with a good backpack. It's just an amazing bag, and it was worth the price for sure.

It's Just OK. Next gen needs improvements.
The backpack is heavy. It offers a very tight compartment that holds a computer and I force my iPad into it as well. The zippers only go down part way so it is hard to store in that side. The top handles are long, and get in the way. A sturdier shorter handle would have been better. It's built tough but is not as convenient to use as I thought it would be.

High quality
Pretty well designed and made from good materials. You can get other backpacks at half the price or better but there would be noticeable quality differences. Padded well in the places it needs padding and fits my 17” diagonal laptop (16” length). The only slight improvement I would recommend is that the side pockets for drinks is pretty narrow. I utilize a standard (thin) cylindrical 24oz water bottle and I have to navigate it into the pocket each time and that is a small water bottle by American standards. Other than working on the elasticity of those side pockets, it is a good bag. I use it for my daily commute but it is also set up to be good for air travel too.

Great looking backpack and looks
Great looking backpack and looks to be very sturdy build. The number of pockets and places to store things is plentiful. I have only travelled once with the new bag, so I am still learning where everything is stored.

Excellent pack
This backpack is great! Super easy to stay organized, the bag looks great and professional while being comfortable to wear. I am able to store two days of clothing, toiletries and a laptop along with charging accessories. Bag is purposefully designed and the stealth pockets are a great touch. My only criticism is that the front most pocket could use a bit more depth, but for small pens/notebooks this is a non issue.

Amazing travel bag!
TravelPro really has outdone themselves with this one. I absolutely truly love this backpack!! It’s got so many pockets, and little sections for storage items of many sizes. I especially the hidden side pockets and the extra thick padding. Five stars across the board with this one.
