Fake Wood
The description is misleading. The base is nice, but the top looks like cheap wood. I’m hiring out a contractor to replace the top with real wood since Macy’s didn’t deliver the expectations of what I thought I purchased.

I bought this because I thought it would be fine till I find what I really want. DO NOT BUY THIS. It's cheap, it took 2 hours to get it together & honestly if I had been home when my husband started this I would have returned it in a heart beast. When it was Famous & Barr, they had quality items, this should be in a Five & Below.

HORRIBLE QUALITY. DO NOT BUY. ZERO RESOLUTION.
It was optimistic to think this table might be a fit for our small dining area. The table itself is very cute, and the stand is made with solid construction. But after wasting 45 minutes on the phone with someone in another country for customer service with Macy's (who I could barely understand, though my background is in linguistics), I was offered zero resolution. I generally buy all of my holiday gifts from Macy's, but this year, I will switch to another online platform instead. The table developed a hole in it after a family member set some books onto it from a nearby bookshelf; with particle board, this can't easily be repaired. So, I asked if they could assist me with a manufacturer repair kit, but nothing was offered, and the woman just kept repeating that I'm outside of the 30-day window. THE ONLINE PICS LOOK NICER THAN THE PRODUCT YOU ACTUALLY RECEIVE. If you want even average customer service or a table that lasts more than a few months, DO NOT BUY this table. Disappointed.
