Broke In Half In 4 Months

I don't know where to start. But we picked this ring to replace my husband's last ring that had been on his hand for 20 years and lost when on golf course. Went to Macy's saw this attractive band in Oct 2018. Today is Feb 2019 and while at his desk at work something felt strange and he looked at ring, it was cracked in half like pieces of metal fell off leaving a gap. No heavy work just sitting at desk. Going tomorrow will see what they do.
