Too stiff and too small

Much like the matching coat, this dress is too small for your normal size, and you need to size up by 2. I did find the fabric to be a bit stiffer than I thought it would be. But for an iconic dress, it is pretty.

Disappointing. Cheaply made

This dress sounds so good in paper but in reality it is very poorly constructed. I got the dress the very same day of my event and as I wore it I couldn’t believe how uncomfortable it felt. Strap bursts as I put it on, line is not joint with the main fabric, making it a complete mess. I could hardly move without this dress getting all over the place, it was terrible. I had to restitch it afterwards to try to making it work. Not a good buy.

Great workmanship

So I bought WAY too large 2XL.I'm a dressmaker so ,"Gee I'll just take it in." Nope. Do I ever fix my own stuf? Sent in for an XL fits like a dream Long but hey, I'm short. Love that I now have my favorite Barnie Doll out fit for grown up me.:u1F970::u1F970:

Stiff fabric

This is really stiff, cheap fabric. If you want it for a Galloween costume, go for it. If you are purchasing as a cocktail dress, I would discourage it.

Magical Dress

I am so happy with this. I ordered the Solo in the Spotlight dress, then this along with the matching coat. I am ordinarily between sizes, so I went to the higher one, and I am glad I did - the material does not have a lot of give to it. It is just so pretty, it’s perfect. The details make it feel so Barbie. As I said in the other review, I’m an older woman, and was reluctant to buy these, worried I’d look silly, but putting them on, I don’t care. I just feel Barbie. Very please with this purchase!
