Beautiful set of dishes!

I am very happy with the quality of these dishes. I purchased these on sale and for our everyday use. I am not disappointed. They are solid but not too heavy. I went with the teal color. It is is a beautiful, soft shade of blue/green with a very subtle brown around the edges. Unfortunately, two bowels arrived broken. Macy's customer service was awesome and corrected this very quickly for me!

Has not stood the test of time.

We got this dinnerware when we were married in 2009 and it has failed to live up to expectations. We have lost half a dozen pieces or more to cracks, and many pieces ooze a black gunk from where they have developed hairline cracks from daily use. Occasionally we will stick a plate with leftovers in the microwave and it will emerge cracked in two pieces. At least half our mugs have hairline cracks from rim to bottom. I have to strongly advise against these dishes, despite their crisp modern look. We were happy with them for the first six years but that's about their maximum lifespan. We are replacing them now and we'll probably get Heath Ceramics this time, with their reputation for quality. We do not recommend this product, though the website is forcing us to check that box to submit a review.

so pretty

this color blue is so perfect! but the bowls were not deep and the mugs were on the smaller side so I had to return. I also received the box and one of the bowls were broken however macys fixed this quickly without an issue. the color is blue/teal however it has this taupe undertone. I really loved the color! my kitchen is brown and it give it a kick of color without being over the top

Great set!

Don't be scared by the cost- this set has nothing to envy the other VW China. Love the Color and the rough finish on the rim. I did receive the set damaged but Bloomingdales Customer service was very quick and helpful to replace it. Thanks!

Pretty everyday set

Very cute, got these in the teal color very pretty and add some color. Not heavy considering they are stoneware. Haven't had long enough to rate their durability but so far so good.
