QUALITY IS OK, SIZES ARE COMPLETELY OFF

I ordered both an 8.5 and a 9 size to see which one fitted best - Im genera a 9, but have learned that with loafers, they can stretch, so I always try an 8.5 as well - To my surprise, the sizes are systematically completely whack. The 8.5 size seemed to match the posted brand size chart at 10.4” inside. However the size 9 was WAY off measuring about 10.95 to 11.1 which equates to sizes 10 and 10.5 respectively vs the expected 10.56” for a size 9. Sizes 8.5 and 9 were literary 0.5” apart vs 0.17”. So the size 8.5 were tight and the 9’s would slip off as I walked. I ordered a second pair of 8.5 and 9 size shoes, and they had EXACT same dimensions . If you are a true size 9, unless you have VERY wide feet, they are going to be too big for you.
