Poor construction of zipper lengthen

I waited for the "Black Friday" sales to purchase this boot because I have been wanting them. They are beautifully made, but when I got them today December 03, 2021, and tried them on I couldn't get my foot in at first. I purchase them one size larger since I have a wider calf. However, after trying for about 40 minutes and getting them on I couldn't get them off again. My right ankle is sore and hurting because where the zipper stop proves to be a challenge to get my foot in. This should have been a full-zipper (from sole to calf lengthen) not a half zipper for easy access. I will be returning these boots.

OBSESSED

I was nervous that these would be too small on me based on the other reviews, but they are true to size (I am a 7 with very average sized feet and calves), and at first it feels like they wont go in, but once they do they are a dream. the shaft of the boot is actually pretty soft and malleable, not too stiff. They are SO BEAUTIFUL! Almost bought Schutz boots but glad I went for these instead.

Stunning Boots

Although the shoes do run a little narrow and small, I have it 5 stars because they look absolutely stunning. Now that you know to order one size down, you won't regret it. I must caution. They are a bit difficult to take off but worth it.

Gorgeous BUT,...

Very nice boots but why people make long boots with small zipper they need long zipper too !!!!

Too small

Doesn't fit my calf at all. I will return it. It's a very classy boot.

Perfect color

Glad I decided to purchase. These boots are a beautiful cherry red patent. Just what I wanted. I did not have any difficulties putting them on and to take them off I just pushed them down like a slouch first, then pulled off. Taking off Frye boots is harder than this. GREAT BUY!!!

Difficult to wear and take off. Might return!

These shoes are beautiful in person but so difficult to put on and take off! Who in the world thought it was a good idea to put the zipper where it is????? They could have made the zipper all the way up. I got them in 8 and a half and gosh did I struggle to wear them and take off???? I’m thinking of returning them. I hope they can remake these shoes so it’s easier to wear and remove. Would make better sense.

WOW Red Boots!!

WOW Red Boots!! It's beautiful shiny red just like the picture. It looks and feels expensive. My normal size 6.5, ordered 7. They fit with no issues. Taking them off takes some effort but they come off eventually. For the heel height they are fairly comfortable. Calf is a little wide for me, but I have thin legs. Wearing with tights will ok. I have to try with dresses and see how calf part looks.
