My cat Cosmo absolutely loves this scratch pad, so much so that we bought 2 more! He weights ~14lbs and we have not had any issues with wear, for the past 3-4wks now. I would definitely recommend this product!

my cat really enjoys this product, it is not something that you buy once, my Sierra goes though about one every six months, if your cat loves it a lot, it will fall apart much faster, if you have multiple active cats who claw a lot, this will look nice for a day or two, but , in the end it's a cardboard box toy for the cat. buy these in bulk when they are on sale :)

Cheap!
I looked nice at first and I was doubting on keeping it or returning it... The scratcher holder is lightweight, made out of cardboard and laminated to have that nice wood look. The laminated layer started to peel after 1 week and I couldn't return it on time b.c. I went out of the country for over a month. It's cheap and my cat left a mess each time he used it. I wish I could return it and get my money back..... :(
