I literally just received two pieces of the 'Wild Strawberry' Wedgwood china, and I LOVE it! I had been going back and forth for the past year on what type of dessert plates I wanted, that would match the pink Depression Glass dessert plates my Grandmother passed on to me. The 'Wild Strawberry' matches perfectly! I can't wait to put them on the table this summer for our special Strawberry Shortcake nights. After seeing these in person (our Macy's store didn't have them), I am looking forward to adding to my new collection.
It's timeless, even after 100 years later...
I LOVE to use wildstrawberry collection. It's lovely, and it make me special and make my guest special. Whenever I see they give me smile and happiness. NOBODY WILL NOT REGRET ABOUT PURCHASING.
Timeless Beauty
I inherited a four place setting of this pattern which I had grown up with. I am in the process of adding to it to make it a twelve place setting set. I loved it's beauty while growing up and it continues to be my favorite pattern. Wild strawberry is a china pattern you'll never tire of. After 40 years of dining on it I can only saw it's beauty remains.
Wild Strawberry Wedgewood
If you're debating about purchashing this pattern, I can tell you that 26 years later, I still love it. Unlike another reviewer, I never use it with pink, but rather white or cream tablecloths during Spring and deep red cloths at Christmas. It looks completely different each time, which is probably why I'm not tired of it after so many years. I have loads of pieces, including the 2 handled soup bowls and deeper teacups; both great. Good luck!
Texas Gulf Coast Gal
I received my first pieces of Wedgwood Wild Strawberry china as wedding presents. Interestingly, my husband picked out the pattern, because he wanted "to eat off something he liked". I have continued to add to my Wild Strawberry service over 30 plus years. I find its simple beauty elegant, and perfect for casual or formal dining. Wedgewood is not only beautiful, but durable, and continues to provide gracious service over many years. I would recommend Wedgwood, and Wild Strawberry pattern in particular, without reservation.
Dream China.
When we moved to Texas from New England we thought we would eventually like to have this pattern in Wedgwood Bone China. When we did buy, finally, my husband thought aloud, "I cannot eat upon this. 'Too much pink!" He pointed to one he could, indeed, eat from....Strawberry & Vine.....which is totally white with strawberries embossed and, also by Wedgwood bone china. It's lovely. We have that for l2,and, I should add, we have always loved white china...which explains my husband's reservations. Earlier this year, in April, we ordered some of this. It is lovlier than I'd lst imagined and it also blends exquisitely with other gold banded bone china we have. We're thinking of adding salad/desserts for parties and other pieces. Solid pink(any pink)tablecloth...and, also solid green...sage, forest, any green table cloth sets it off. It is a very subtley exciting additon to our china collection. Hopefully, Macy's will continue to carry it!
