Horrible Product - DO NOT BUY

I purchased this umbrella on May 5 and waited a few weeks to put it up. It lasted about 2 weeks. The crank stop working and after opening the housing saw that the screw was broken in half. Contacted Macys and they said I was past the 30 days by 2 days so contacted Westin. They also wanted to say I was over the 30 day warranty. This is clearly a manufacturers issue and should be handled that way. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT but mainly don’t wait to put it up so you do not miss the 30 day return. Very disappointing in how this was handled.

Good I also need to purchase a stand to hold the umbrella down. I did not want to purchase a stand at this time and decided to return the umbrella instead of waiting

Very pleased with the purchase Am very pleased after a week. We actually secured it with screws in the deck since it is a wood deck and can be filled in if need be. I am older and was still able to put it up and let it down which surprised me. So over all at this time I am very pleased.
