Red Dye Bleeds

I tried this dress on today and was so glad to have a dress that would work for an event I have in 3 days. It fit well in accordance with the size chart, was very comfortable, and I was delighted. However, immediately after taking it off I touched my light gray wall and was horrified to see that there were red fingerprints. I looked at my hands and they were bright red from the dye, and a bit had even gotten onto the bra I was wearing to try the dress on. I am so thankful I noticed this before wearing to an event, as I would have been absolutely mortified. Unfortunately the dress is spot clean only so I can't even have it dry cleaned to see if that fixes the issue. I've worn probably at least 4 formal red dresses to events from various brands, and I did not anticipate this issue with a higher end gown. Dress is beautiful, but not worth the potential embarrassment.
