Wrong angle

Website says 14 degrees, packaging says 17 degrees. It was specifically bought for the 14 degrees the website described

Love it!

I have had a set of Wusthof knives for 30+ years and up until a year ago, my husband was able to sharpen the knives, but due to health issues he is no longer able to. I purchased this sharpener and spent approx. 45 minutes sharpening my 15 knives using this sharpener. Holy cow, they are once again razor sharp and cut with ease. It really is as simple as running the knife thru the coarse side and then thru the fine side to get an edge. I run the knife thru the fine side before each use to keep an edge on it.

Keep the sharpener handy

The sharpener is in the front of our knife drawer. I select the knife and the sharpener simultaneously. run the knife through the sharper and honing slots about three times and the knife is almost razor sharp. I can slice or chop effortlessly. It's now a habit

Delighted Couple

This is quite easy to use; we reviewed a few videos demonstrating its use. We can see there is a learning curve, but confident that we'll become more proficient as we use it more. So far I, the wifey, have used it on my old knives, as our Wusthof set does not need sharpening yet. I like the simplicity and the size of this hand held knife sharpener. It will be very convenient to store when not in use. I like that it does not slip around while in use, and that I can use it right on the counter.

Easy To Use

I have had one and bought this for my sister. Be careful as I just cut my finger today after sharpening the knife!
