Macy's cancelled sale and then increased price

Long time Macy's customer and furnished most of my home through them. This review is more about Macy's than the sofa, but felt I should share. I purchased this sofa after Christmas 2023 when it was 40% off for ~$1300. Macy's sold it to me and provided me a receipt. 10 days later, I received a call from Customer Service and they claimed the sofa was unavailable from the manufacturer. I returned to the website and here it is for twice the original price. I searched through other vendors and found the exact same product for less than half what Macy's is selling it for. Very disappointed in Macy's on this one, especially after being a such a devoted customer.
