Huge! Sharp Edges and Corners

Solid bed - the lip of the edge is about 2 inches wide on each side (past the mattress) making it really easy to bang your shins. Our poor old cat banged her legs jumping off. It is beautiful to look at and the solid construction is really nice. The metal part isn't bad at all - smooth and it works to satisfy my husband's strict order to not buy "anything girly" haha. The closeout price was good but if I saw this bed in person I would have chosen something with softer edges.
