Beautiful but received broken

The gold and silver small hoops were broken off the larger hoop. On inspection that piece fits into a small sliver in the large hoop and then glued in. Taking it to a jeweler to repair is not worth the cost. Giving the single earring that was not broken to my daughter who wears multi earrings. Also, wish Macy's would use small boxes for shipping and not padded envelopes when it comes to jewelry. I have a feeling this might have been crushed in shipping.
