FANTASTIC! And love the PLUM color!

This Essential Carry-On Spinner suitcase does everything you could want and MORE. I travelled for two weeks in Turkey with everything packed in this 22” carry-on because I was on a boat and there was no room for larger checked bags. I especially like the ability to pack dresses in such a small bag with their foldout tool. I also purchased the matching tote to bring as my “personal item” and was amazed at how much I got in there, as well. B & R’s expandable/compacting technology is great. You won’t be disappointed! A little difficulty at first with the TSA lock, but following the directions precisely fixed the problem.

Disappointed

It’s beautiful. The expandable mechanism doesn’t stay expanded (locked) on one end. My wheels will not position fully parallel so the point of having a spinner is lost on this style. I now have to roll it as a two wheel which completely defeats the purpose of a spinner.

BRIGGS & RILEY Excellence- 30 Years and Counting

I bought two Briggs & Riley bags in 1995, and both are as serviceable and functional today as when they were brand new. They continue to look great despite hard use. After 21 years one bag was torn by luggage handlers. I returned it for repair at no charge. It was fixed and returned to me within seven days. You cannot see the repair. You can depend on Briggs & Riley, period. Simply the best.

Unexpectedly heavy and too large

Unexpectedly heavy and too large for european travel. I would not recommend this bag. I bought one for both my wife and I for our trip to Germany and France, and now wish I hadn't. We couldn't take them with us, and since I had them monogrammed, I cannot return them. Big mistake. . .
