Precious Lids and Misleading Review Platform

Note that I was forced to submit this review in order to activate the warranty. Also, funny that the platform WON’T LET ME SUBMIT ANYTHING BELOW FOUR STARS. Take the reviews you see with a large grain of salt. This bit of dishonesty has turned me off for the foreseeable future.About the containers: Taking a couple of stars off for an expensive set of food containers that aren’t quite perfect.We purchased this and several other pieces from the collection.I missed the fine print noting that lids must be removed before using in a microwave or oven, which feels easy to overlook at this price point.More importantly, the lids seal extremely tightly. If the containers are filled to capacity or used for liquids, opening them requires significant force — making spills and messes somewhat inevitable. This isn’t quite obvious until you’ve actually used them.They’re well made, but buyers should be aware that these require extra care in everyday use.
