Buyer beware!

Although the set looks good if you like this type of finish and seems reasonably well made for the price, the size is deceptive. Although the chest and dresser are both approximately 19 inches deep the drawers in each are only about 13 inches deep so you loose about 5 inches of storage space in every drawer. That's a lot of unavailable storage space. I would have given this set a 4 star rating otherwise. The Macy's buyers should have noticed this.

Colors mismatch products from the same set

Be aware that the colors shown do not match the product being sold. I purchased the chest and an additional nightstand and the colors do not match the colors for the bed, dresser and nightstand. When I called Macy's to discuss this they told me if I was unhappy with it I can pay to return the furniture. Very poor customer service received and no resolution to the issue.

We really like our new set. We have the high chest and long dresser with mirror plus bed and two night stands. It looks great in our room. The drawers are closing a little stiffly but otherwise than that we are extremely happy with our purchase. Hoping the stiffness eases up with use. Would buy again!

It is beautiful and solid but the capacity is one third less than the general chest. this make me disappointed.

Beautiful, solid dresser

Beautiful, solid dresser! The drawers open nice and firm. The color is a beautiful, antique beige. Only thing to be cautious about is fresh paint inside of the drawers rub off on clothes, especially from the top if the clothes are stacked all the way up. I'm guessing it will go away after some time, but other than that, I am very happy with the purchase.

Great dresser

Nice dresser for the price! I looked at a lot of dressers and this was the best quality for a good price. The top two smaller drawers are lined and the vey bottom one has cedar.

Nice colour

either the floor is uneven or the chest is uneven. I've had to place a piece of paper underneath it to level it. The topmost pull is also very rough and I have to be careful when pulling it to open the drawer. It's a beautiful piece to look at. I love the way it looks.
