Does not hear all the time.
I bought it three months ago, but only started using it two weeks ago. It is not heating every pot brewed. Today was the third time in a week.

Great coffee!! Dribbly carafe.
I love the coffee that the pour-over brewer makes! And I trust Cuisinart to have made a solid and durable product. Unfortunately, I wish I'd believed the other reviewers who commented about the thermal carafe. It looks lovely, but it is nearly impossible to pour from it without dribbling. It also does not keep the coffee hot for very long. I had assumed that the plate the carafe rests on would heat up, but it does not, and the heat seems to escape the wide carafe spout very quickly. I'm surprised that Cuisinart hasn't fixed this minor design flaw yet. It's otherwise awesome!

Nice coffee maker with nice features.
I bought this coffee pot a couple weeks ago. It’s a beautiful coffee maker with a great concept. However, I do think it should have a longer bloom time. 10 seconds is too short. They should give you the option of programming the time. And I wish it came in a ten cup. But it is a decent coffee maker. The large water fill is a nice change from other Cuisenart coffee makers.

Acid stomach
I bought this pour over because it's really nice looking and easy to use. What ISN'T explained anywhere is that tthis method of making coffee emphasizes the acidity and I got a whopping stomach ache--I substituted the stainless filter for a paper one because I read online that this method with paper can help lower cholesterol. I've gone back to using my French press but will try this pour over again with the stainless filter and a LOW ACID coffee. Aside from this important information about the pour over method, it WORKS beautifully.

It is just ok not great
Our keurig broke and we started breaking open the pods and using the grounds in a manual pour over method. This method tasted delicious so we decided to get this Cuisinart thinking it would taste similar. The coffee tastes weak and just different than manual pour over. I do not recommend this product.

Good morning pick me up!
Received quickly. I have used Cuisinart coffee makers over the past several years. Always satisfied with a good cup of coffee. This pot I have found a flaw or two. Sometimes while pouring the top leaks down the side and fails to beep when brewing complete. Not sure what to do about those issues. I discarded the packing suggestions please. Like the style makes a great cup of joe......tried to troubleshoot
