We bought this for our lake home and it’s great. We had guests stay over 4th of July and they loved it also. So happy with this purchase. We finally made the switch from keurigs to a machine that will grind the beans. So very happy!

The Best Coffee I've Had & Convenient!
Is beyond my expectations! The coffee is rich and delicious, fast, convenient and made to order, which is my favorite. My wife and I have different strengths of brew and we can do this at will, really awesome.

Great Concept, Middling Execution
I'll start with the good on this - the machine takes whole beans and makes an incredibly good cup of coffee relative to other machines with similar ease of use. The taste is miles better than a Keurig or Nespresso, both of which I used before this De'Longhi. When it works, it's nothing short of incredible. You just press a button with whole beans and bam, excellent coffee comes out. I don't really have a refined enough palate for coffee to know if the grind is right or what, but every cup comes out tasting good to me. The downside is that the machine is just so darn needy. Unbearable amount of maintenance and babying. Seems like every third or fourth cup you need to empty the waste containers inside of the machine that house the old water and grounds. And frustratingly, the sensors seem entirely inconsistent. Just this morning, I needed to empty the contents when there was literally not a single ground of coffee in the used grounds receptacle and the used water receptacle was generously 1/3 full. And there is not a way to override it. So if you buy this, prepare yourself for mornings when you're already stressed trying to fight the machine to just make the darn cup of coffee - the used receptacles aren't full! JUST MAKE IT ALREADY. To De'Longhi engineering - (a) make the used receptacles bigger - they are way, way too small and need to be emptied way, way too often; and (b) fix the darn sensors so that it only tells me to empty them when I actually NEED to. There also should be a single error debug page within the manual that lists what every, single hieroglyph on the machine means so that I don't need to wade through pages and pages of fine print just to know what this specific hieroglyph is trying to tell me. Of course, putting the error messages in ENGLISH on the machine would be better, but that would cost shareholders and rich CEOs $.03 margin on every machine sold and we can't have that! In a way this product is perfectly emblematic of most modern products; a revolutionary idea for something that could materially simplify and improve day-to-day life but then the product cheaps out and cuts corners in the worst possible ways, making it generally more frustrating to use than what came before.

Save your money
Purchased 2023 would not brew a coffee due to a broken switch n the inside. I had that repaired and ran fine without issues until recently it failed again with the infuser jamming up inside the unit. DeLonghi will not address this failure as it is 28 days outside of warranty which I thought was 3 years. Product came with no literature so I had no idea I needed to register it for a 3 year warranty. I did download the manual but there is no mention of having to register for a warranty. Unfortunately the support I received was horrendous. They did offer a 20% discount on a future product. Thanks but no thanks.

I love this machine. It makes a great cup of coffee and is easy to use. 94 year old mom-in-law can use it with no problem.

Support is awful
Had it for 6 weeks, worked great. Then it died. I tried multiple outlets but it was dead. Even though I had registered my product online, it took another week for support to "verify" I legit bought it from the website and then required me to produce a video proving I wasn't lying about the problem. Then they decided I needed to ship my broken machine back to them to fix. AWESOME. All of this time I had to figure out how to make coffee without the very expensive machine that I bought. So they sent the box I needed to ship it in after 10 days, but they FORGOT TO INCLUDE A PACKING SLIP. The machine was great when it was working but support has been horrible. So I guess I am waiting for them to send me a packing slip now? I am going on a month without any forward movement.

Delicious coffee!
Delicious coffee, I love the by pass for pre ground coffee because I drink decaf and my husband has caf ( the beans). Wish the little red receptacle was bigger (inside the machine) it fills faster than the coffee ground receptacle. Excellent overall, it must be cleaned once a day for sure!

Amazing coffee with so much versatility
I absolutely LOVE this machine! Such versatility and amazing coffee every time. I love the ability to use beans or ground coffee, as I will drink one cup caffeinated with fresh beans then a second cup of ground decaf. The daily clean up was frustrating at first but it’s 100% worth it. Takes me about 4 minutes to clean daily now. Again, totally worth it. Don’t think about it anymore, just buy it. You’ll love it, too. I’m actually thinking about buying a second one so I have it when my current one decides to die.
