Reliable and Excellend

I have had this watch since it was released in 2018. I have worn it every day, without fail since then. I swap between the metal band and the rubber or fabric bands using the quick fit system, which is very reliable and convenient. I pair it with my HRM chest strap when cycling and the watch is accurate enough that I don't even need a bike computer. I also use it to track hikes, kayaking, trail runs and any other activity i can think of. It also tracks my sleep and resting heart rate, a great metric for health. I can't recommend it enough. As much as I want the newest Fenix every year, my 5 plus is still great.

Indestructible? Legally, no. But yes!

Well, I've abused this thing unintentionally. I've had it for a little more than a year now and it looks 99% new. Only a few very minor scrates on the surface of the metal coating. The sapphire has held up way beyond what I ever imagined it could. Seriously. I've smashed this thing working on cars, trucks, and military vehicles. It can take a beating and keep on going. It's water proof in the shower or washing it clean if you got it super dirty. The bands are ultra fast to swap, but that's even extremely durable. I wanted a color change so I got a green band. 15 seconds of swapping and I was done. Watch face options are awesome! Buttons are super easy to push but not too bad on bumps. Navigation through the menus is great. Settings are easy to find. Overall, I love this watch. The tracking and app sync are great and it's fun to see how many stairs and steps I take each day in comparison to my wife. Friendly competition, of course. I would absolutely spend my money on this watch countless times again. I plan to upgrade to the 7 sapphire in the future, although the titanium 6 is extremely tempting visually.

Excellent Watch for Runners

I use this watch everyday. It tracks my heart rate, sleep cycles, stress level and intensity levels. It's also great for tracking my runs. The GPS is excellent and it stores my favorite running music.

Everything you need and more

There is more available in this watch than you could hope for. As I have learned about it, I have considered taking up pursuits that I would not have otherwise considered. The health and fitness monitoring features have helped me make improvements to my sleep and recovery. Whether you are a beginner or an expert, you will get a lot out of the Garmin Fenix.

Triathlon training approved

This has been my training watch since the beginning. It gives me access to all the data, let's me synch with other GARMIN devices like my cadence and speed tools on my bike. It counts my laps so I don't have to. This watch os for someone who likes to track their progress. I would recommend this to beginners and experts. Make sure you don't sleep on this watch!
