Great product

The external water reservoir for the GE opal 2.0 is absolutely fantastic. It hooks up perfectly with the hose that already comes with the ice maker. The size is great it fits well just about anywhere. It is so easy to hook this external water reservoir up.

Design flaw

The extra side tank is nice to have, but it’s a design flaw in my opinion to fill it from the bottom. There should be a way to refill it from the top without having to take the entire unit out turn it over and fill it from the bottom

Great Ice - post screeching incident

After 2 weeks of use the icemaker began making an awful screeching noise. We Sanitized the machine and this seems to have fixed the issue. Able to enjoy the product once again.

Tank

It makes using the ice machine so much easier, not having to refill the machine reservoir all the time. We had to replace the side tank after it started leaking out of the sides and top- not sure how it happened, may have been a kid dropped it when refilling.
