In race mode, the lap counter tracks the cars as they whip through the three-lane booster and speed around dynamic turns and elevation changes, just like on real city streets. Kids can engage the interactive DRS diverter that allows vehicles to overtake the leader in a turn – the winner will be first to the finish gate. In infinite mode, race the three included F1 cars continuously, manually adjusting diverters to boost the competition. Tracks feature Speed Snap Track connection points to extend the race with more tracks and sets. Additional Hot Wheels tracks and sets are sold separately. Colors and decorations may vary.

This track will count laps and declare a winner!

This track was very easy for my 10 year old to set up I only had to finish adding the forgotten stickers. It requires 4 D size batteries which weren’t included but easy to get. The track is really powerful and it’s fun to get cars racing on it. This set comes with 3 race cars which work well and are intended for use with the track. We tried some of our other hot wheels cars. Some of them worked while others were too wide or flew off the track which was fun. You can set the cars to race by setting the lap counter and making sure the button is on the finish line flag. If you don’t have the button switched to that side the cars will never be stopped the track flying up. My child and I loved this feature and it’s fun to try to get different cars to place first. Overall my child and I love the track.
