Perfect!

I bought the red and am very happy I did. The red used has a bit of zing to it and is a fiery contrast to the dull colors that crowd the closet this time of year. But as it not a darker holiday red, it’s wearable beyond December. Otherwise, with its black stripes and dark detailing, the turtleneck ends up, with its full-cover, flattering fit and style, pretty close to a conservative look. So, what is not to like? This sweater is perfect for work and casual social events, just as much as at-home and about-town activities.

Nice!

Nice! This heavier winter sweater is cut generously but is flattering and true to size. And unlike some winter sweaters, it is not too long. Yes, it‘s long enough to easily cover the lower edges of the extra garments one might want to wear under it, but not so long that it’s on its way to covering the hips. Usually in a review, I first mention a garment’s quality (for this sweater, excellent in all respects), styling (again, excellent), and color (excellent; in fact, after the first order came in, a classic light grey, I immediately turned around and ordered another, in the red, which is a perfect, dark, classic red). But for sure, I’m especially struck by this sweater’s classic, sensible, perfect sizing. Pun intended… A lot of sweaters are coming up short (or long) in that respect, the past few years. So pretty much, this sweater gets a rave review.

Comfortable and warm

I got this sweater in the gray and white colors. I really like turtleneck style and the pattern of the stripes. It's a midweight sweater. Not too heavy, not too light. I'm very pleased with it.
