    Not the awesome experience I'd hoped for, yet.

    I bought this mixer about a month ago to replace an old reliable mixer that I'd had for "decades". I was excited to get a KitchenAid because of the great reviews. The mixer looks amazing but I'm a bit disappointed in the operations. The speed lever is a bit clunky, the head reaches so far over the bowl that it's difficult to add ingredients while mixing. It did a great job mixing the batter so I'm pleased with that. I suppose, it's all about adjusting from an old friend to a new one. Time will tell.

    Love the look, the different attachments

    My husband gave me the mixer as a Christmas present since I burned up my hand mixer making my Christmas cookies. I love the mixer and wish I had bought one sooner.

    Great Mixer, Sometimes Struggles With Dough

    The stand mixer is a shoulder and wrist saver, but mine tends to become unlocked when kneading dough and using the dough hook. It sounds as if the motor is also struggling and it is only a month old. But I love all the features and attachments.
