Excellent Attachment

Takes a couple of times to perfect, but oh so very worth it. Nothing better than homemade ravioli. Too bad this attachment was discontinued.

Craft pasta, homemade 100%

I think it takes couple of trainning. You should love cook for pay the price. The use is manual. I like the results but it takes time, think well before to spend on this. If you think you´ll have the time I recommend it

A bit expensive for what it does.

I didn’t realise it was a hand winder system. Would be cool if the kitchen air makes it roll, but then I guess it would probably roll too quick.

Returned after first use

I received this as a gift and I was so excited because I got a copy of my Nona’s recipe and couldn’t wait to use it. Well what a flop. After spending a lot of money for ingredients (nona’s recipe was for meat and some veggies) and almost ALL day getting everything prepared and ready to start the process it was so messy and you couldn’t even tell some were ravioli. Didn’t waste though I used all to make a delicious lasagna. I will say though that I have almost every attachment and I will say I love the pasta maker. So save your money!! Sorry kitchen aid. Don’t bother with a response because I returned it to the store for a refund.

Great idea but really difficult to use

I really wanted to like this attachment, but it is a little tedious to use in that it doesn't mark where to start the cranks in order to start feeding the pasta sheets; the directions only say to feed in the pasta sheets and turn it 1/4 to start feeding. It also does not have any marks to align the pasta to be filled, which leads to waste of the pasta dough and filling. I do like that it really perforates and seals most of the raviolis, but without guides on alignment, it leads to waste.

Practice and you will love it!!!

It took me a time or two to figure out the best way to use this attachment, but I love it!!! It’s great to be able to control what you put in your favorite dishes!
