This bed is beautiful and made very nice. I chose the mouse fabric color and it is a really nice shade of taupe. You do need a box spring but not too high, probably 6" to 8" high which is hard to find. Sometime they call them Bunky Boards. I will probably order from a foam store that sells mattresses in different heights and density. I will get the hardest for under our mattress. I can get two twins which will fit in my car (rolled) and use them under my king size mattress. Hope that helps you with what this great bed needs for extra support under your mattress.
Amazing Stylish Bed
This bed is very modern and sleek and comfortable. The best thing about it is how sturdy and expensive looking it is. Great quality fabric!
Boxspring IS required. Rough fabric.
Be advised...Unless you are purchasing or already have at least an 18" H or more high profile mattress - you must use a boxspring or you will be practically sleeping on the floor, unless that is what you prefer. Fabric is very rough, like cotton duck material. Also, some mattresses/boxsprings may not cover the wood slats underneath. There should be a platform board or something to cover those up..
Truth in Advertising
I purchased the full bed and storage ottoman. The upholtery is beautiful and my expectations were surpassed. After so many disappointments purchasing items on line, I was thrilled that my selection was exactly as pictured.
New York Living
I saw this bed frame online and fell in love with the style and color. I debated on buying it in Julep or Ivory but when I saw it at the store, I decided Ivory was chic, elegant and bright. Thank you, Macy's! I love my room and feel as if I am in New York again.
Perfect Bed
OMG this bed its so comfortable. i just ordered this bed 4 weeks ago and when i got it, this bed was so freakin comforable my sister and brother was fast asleep and snuggling with there pillow pet. i wrote a review about kids clothes and i got a letter from the manager saying that, that review was the best. I LUV MACYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)
Awesome piece of furniture!
I was looking for a bed and decided to go to my favorite store. I saw this bed and fell in love!! It is beautiful. When it came, the delivery men were very nice. I can now say I get a good nights sleep. This is one of the best purchases I have ever made! Kudos Macys!!!
