Slats not stained. Unfinished wood visible
I received delivery of the Matteo bedroom set on Dec 1. I ordered 5 pieces are they all look very nice (Queen size bed, Dresser, Chest, Night stand, mirror.) There is plenty of storage. The delivery men were prompt and set up the furniture fine. The issues: 1) The delivery men were going to use a dolly to roll the furniture over my hardwood floors. I asked them not to. And they didn't use the dolly. I can't believe customer wouldn't have a problem with a wooden dolly being pushed over hardwood floors. 2) The Queen sized storage bed is about 1.5 inches wider that a Queen size mattress. It is also about 1.5 inches longer than a Queen size mattress. There are 13 unstained wooden slats that are visible when the mattress is put onto the frame. I wasn't happy about that and it wasn't visible in the Macy's showroom either.There should be a stained covering over the slats, or the 13 wooden slats should be stained the same color as the rest of the bed. I will have to stain it myself.

So happy with purchase!
This bedroom set is so nice! It is not too big. Very elegant. Looks very expensive. The quality is great. Just love it! I bought the king size and couldn’t be happier.
