Online buyers beware

I purchased a men’s Tissot Classic Black Leather Strap online. It was available and in stock at Macys West Covina. When I received email that it was available for pick up the following day, I went to do just that. Once in store, I received my bagged order, had my email scanned and left the store. No, I did not inspect my purchase when associate gave me the Macys bag, I just blindly trusted that all was good. It wasn’t until I reached my car that I opened the bag and the watch box and saw I had been given the wrong watch. I walked back into Macys and back to the same associate that initially helped me. She looked up the order information and proceeded to tell me that the watch became out of stock and the person who filled the order picked the closest watch similar to the one I had purchased online. I was dumbfounded. I had no idea Macys operated like a supermarket and asked to speak to a supervisor. Eventually, after some time I ended up driving further out to Macys in Santa Anita to “swap out” the watch for the one I actually purchased online. The associates at West Covina apologized for the error and told me who to see and where exactly to go once I arrived at Santa Anita store. Needless to say, I ended up canceling my online order all together and I purchased a Bolova mens watch instead. I highly recommend inspecting all of your online order purchases on the spot once you’ve picked up.

Late arrival

Purchased a watch on the 16th of December Said it would be delivered way before Christmas Now according to the latest tracking information the delivery date is December 29th Thanks for nothing Macys😡
