Box came damaged. Could see the inprotected lampshade through the hoe in the box. Seemed fine, so opened it. The lamp stand comes in three pieces that do not match! I can assemble anything, but the base of this lamp, I could not get to screw into the middle stem. And, the lamp shade is not as curved, as shown in the photo. And it's a darker color. So disappointed.

Very nice floor lamp, but...
First of all, I must complement Macy's customer service. My concerns with this floor lamp were immediately addressed with a very positive outcome. However, the first floor lamp that I received had defects. The lamp shade had wrinkles in it and the lamp finial was machined so poorly that the lamp shade did not sit straight on the lamp harp. The rest of the lamp was perfect. Macy's sent a replacement lamp that was not defective. So long story short, the lamp is well made with a pleasant brown/black finish, the shade is really beautiful with a graceful curve to the shade and the lamp gives plenty of light.

Love The Height
I have bought this light fixture and matching table lamp several times. They go anywhere! Love the height of this floor lamp!
