Nice and Large!

Was looking for a large platter/bowl to display in my kitchen for the Holidays. This is 18" in diameter and fills up the cabinet shelf in my kitchen. Love how heavy it is and with hints of colors in the toys it works with the different colors schemes I do each Christmas

Beautiful but huge

Beautiful but massive. Huge. Keep that in mind when you order it. You'll need to figure out how to store it for the rest of the year (we're still working on figuring that out! Giant square flat box about 20 x 20 x4 inches You could serve a roast beast on this thing for the entire town of Who-Ville!

German fame but made in China

There was something about this serving dish that just wasn’t up to V&B snuff then I saw it was made in China. All my other V&B china says Made in Germany and feels more solid. Unfortunately I started a Christmas collection of Toy’s Delight for twelve. The devil is in the details! I’m not sure it counts as full disclosure if they omit where it’s manufactured and it coasts on its German reputation. What a disappointment!

Perfect for many uses

This platter is HUGE!! It is great for anything - roast with gravy (it has a turned up edge), a large selection of cookies or hors d'oeuvres. It is beautiful.
