I love this piece because not only can I use it as a cake plate, but I can also flip it upside down and use it for chips and dip! It always makes a statement when I'm entertaining and it looks perfect in every setting.

Yes, this is a beautiful piece, but it's impossible to find a glass dome that will fit on this piece. I'm disappointed there's not a companion dome. Just be warned before you buy this that you won't be able to find a dome for this if you decide you want one.

This piece is gorgeous, elegant, the way the light makes it sparkle! It's amgical. There is no better than Waterford. Its breath taking, especially under the lights! I purchased this cake plate and decided it would be the new family birthday cake plate. It is going to be a family hierloom. I will use it as much as possible. It it very study and thick yet not too heavy. Worth every single cent. I will never regret this purchase. And the Macy's staff is incredible at Sherman Oaks, CA location!

THis is the best idea ever. Something that can be used as a cake server or dip and chips!!!!!!. The crystal is not as pretty in person but still looks good. It is thick and seems durable and is easy to clean. It is big enough to accommodate a good size cake and lots of chips. Still can't stop talking about the dual purpose!

This footed cake plate looks beautiful on a table but I wish it came with a cover so it could be left on the counter until the leftovers are eaten.
