Great cookware

Hot too Fast

I purchased this pan to move away from non-stick surfaces. I am not sure what I am doing wrong. The pan gets too hot very fast. The pan is not as heavy as I expected, in comparison to a 5quart pot (same brand) purchased a few months ago. The top seems to weigh more than the pan. I cooked an egg in the pan with butter and it still stuck to the pan. 1. The pan gets hot too fast. You must be careful or you will either get burnt or burn your food. 2. Keep the heat low from start to finish. 3. I understand what oils to use for high heat, but in this instance I have learned not to use high heat when using this ban or scrabble an egg in this pan. Not satisfied with the performance. I will attempt to cook something else in this pan and update my review.

Dissappointed.

Sadly dissapointed. 1st and last All clad I am purchasing more than likely. I was beyond excited to fonally be able to afford an All Clad pan. I followed the guide on 1st cook but already developed that brown hue color of an old stainless steel pan. I have other stainless steel pans that work better and are quite affordable compared to the price of All Clad. Hoping this was a 1 off problem. But I don't really feel like dropping more money on a different All Clad pan and find out. The handle & lid still look brand new while the rest of the pan looks as if it has gone through the trenches a few years already. Beyond dissappointed.
