Fabulous and Functional Beautiful Babish Block

This slim countertop magnetic knife holder does the job - tall enough to accommodate 8" knives, the magnet is powerful enough to hold them in place without them slipping or slanting. The non-skid base is a must to support pulling the knife away from the wood surface. The small footprint and black matte finish, which wipes clean easily, offer suble sophistication and best of all, no drilling or adhesives. There are no slots to dull knife edges; knives rest flush on both sides, giving priority space on one side for knives more frequently used. One notice: the magnetic pull is so strong that larger knives with more surface area tend to cause the knife mount to tilt when the knife is removed. Our small kitchen is more efficient and less crowded with this holder - other knife holders were researched and rejected due to features not conducive to heavy use by quick hands (e.g., location, mounting constraints, etc.). Babish is the real deal, worth every cent.

Yes, it's great for big knifes...

Magnets are very strong. This unit will most definitely hold the biggest of knifes.
