On one of the pots, the glass lid was poorly manufactured.The lid was rinsed and then loaded into the dishwasher-When we went to add more stuff to the dishwasher, the glass lid exploded! Chards of glass everywhere. The customer service person will not make good and send a replacement lid. Im guessing thats why the set was on sale. Quality not there even for the sale price.

Some Product Issues
We noticed that the covers make a popping sound while they are cooling down, likely from expansion and contraction. Also the aluminum encapsulated bases have loose metal fragments inside and allow water to infiltrate when hand washing.

Heat evenly but getting discolored spots already
The set of pots and pans is gorgeous! So bright and shiny, and they heat evenly. But I noticed that a couple of my pans have discolored spots on the bottom and inside after only a couple of uses. Tried scrubbing but it doesn't help, so I'm not sure if there's a way around that. I waited a long time to buy a new set of pots and pans so I'm bummed that this is happening.

Great Performance Once You Learn Stainless Steel
This Cuisinart stainless steel set is beautiful and heats up very quickly and evenly. After a few uses, everything has performed exactly as it should. I noticed some rainbow discoloration and water spots at first, which concerned me, but learned this is normal for stainless steel and easily cleaned with vinegar or the proper cleaner. Once I adjusted to stainless steel cooking techniques, food released well and the results were great. Overall, a high-quality set that performs very well once you know what to expect. Fantastic for the price!
