Time to upgrade

After my 20 or 30 year old Cuisinart stopped working, I decided to not bother with trying to fix it. It was time to upgrade and that is just what this model does. The new features make me wonder why I waited so long. I guess the answer is if you have a machine that is still running after 20 or 30 years then you must have a pretty good machine. Macy’s made it very easy for me to get exactly the model I wanted at a great price.

This is the best food processor I’ve ever owned. I especially love the box that store all the attachments. The instruction book comes with recipes (haven’t tried them yet but they look great). I’ve used it several times already. I think it is worth the money to upgrade to this high end model.

My Cuisinart 14 cup Elite Collection Food Processo

I previously owned the Cuisinart 12 cup food processor. Have been wanting the 14 cup for quite awhile with the dough cycle. Finally purchased the 14 cup and have made several loaves of bread, muffins, cookies, especially good carrot cake. Do all my chopping, slicing and shredding saving much time. Gave my 12 cup to my granddaughter and still going strong. One thing I like, especially, about the 14 cup is the ability to remove the rubber gasket to clean around the inside of the lid; great feature.

Food processor

Excellent processor. Easy to assemble or disassemble, works great. I use mostly for grating potatoes for hash browns or for chopping (onions, celery, pickles, etc). Only dislike is the optional whipping attachment, cannot get it to whip egg whites, have not (and will not) tried whipping cream.

Love my new food processor! I haven’t used all the features yet, but sure I’ll enjoy them. This replaces my old cuisinart bought in the ‘80’s. Hope this one lasts so long.
