I got this for Christmas and have only used it once so far but it was amazing and sped up my pasta making process so much! Can't speak on all the cracked plastic pieces everyone is talking about, but I plan on treating this like my baby so hopefully all is well and I get a good amount of use out of it.

Great...until the rollers crack.
Like many others, I've had this several years, using it mostly during the holidays. Last time I noticed the same cracks in the underside plastic rollers as others. This makes a huge difference when you are rolling thinner sheets, as you end up with tears and weirdly stretched out areas. Also agree with others, at this price, it should not be so prone to being worn out with minimal use. Very disappointed!

Super easy, lacking an important feature for me!
I just received this and have used it for the first time to roll out pasta for lasagna. I love how easy it makes this however I'm disappointed that the highest level, #8, still does not roll the dough out as thin as I would like it. I usually don't precook my noodles when I make lasagna béchamel and the thinner thickness is important. Is there any way to adjust the rollers to get closer?

Cheapest part breaks
I bought this roller with the 3-piece set a few years ago, using it maybe twice a year when I have have the time to make homemade pasta. The plastic pieces on the bottom of the roller have cracked in several places, causing the dough to get bunched up, making the rollers useless. Very disappointed in the product

Turns out KitchenAid makes high end mixers with cheap accessories. Buy the expensive mixer and get locked into a terrible ecosystem of plastic attachments that will break

Broken hearted
I admit I have had and loved my pasta roller for a number of years. I bought the three peice set. Now however like so many people the plastic guides are cracking. I can't find replacements and you would think that would be an option for a mainly stainless steel appliance. I don't want to waste, I can afford to buy new but it should be easy to fix th problem.

Plastic breaks
I've used this product only a handful of times and, at first, it worked like a charm. Now, however, it is unusable as the plastic blade that makes the dough separate from the rollers has cracked and broke. There are no replacement parts except to buy a whole new attachment.
