Nice Summer Dress

Fabulous, well-made dress

This is a wonderful dress. The sleeve detail is so pretty. Not too blousy or overbearing. Just executed to perfection. The skirt is also well made with a horizontal, three-tiered, sewn-down detail across the hip that minimizes and slenderizes . Perfect length. Crisp, not crispy, fabric. Easy wash and wear. A collar that really pops. The button placket is a lovely detail. The gathered A-line skirt is graceful and roomy without adding too much volume.With this brand, be sure to check the size chart, because it runs a size smaller than many other Macy's brands, like Alfani. I wish they would make this dress in other fabrics and colors.

I really wanted to like this dress

So, I bought this dress in a 10- that's my size. I put it on and immediately one of the buttons fell off (ugh). The skirt part poofs out too much. The top part was ok (besides missing a button) but it just didn't fit right. I'm going to blame the dress -- it's not made right.

Beautiful

I bought size 10 and I%u2019m 5%u20194%u201D 149 lbs . It fits great except the the bottom of the dress has too much volume/ fullness for a petite person and I agree like the other two reviews . The material is very solid, looks cute and I love it.

Nice

I’ve been eyeing this dress for a while and I finally bought it once it went on sale. I bought size 0 and I’m 5’1” 107 lbs 26/27” waist. It fits great except the the bottom of the dress has too much volume/ fullness for a petite person. I think this dress should look good on a much taller person- maybe 5’5” or above?? The material is very solid and it looks expensive... too bad.

I really like this dress

I couldn’t decide between the size 8 and the size 10. They both fit, but the skirt part of the dress was a bit too big in the 10, so I kept the 8. Thankfully it did not shrink in the wash and came out looking just as cute. I noticed there were some loose threads on both dresses, but the one I kept and washed didn’t fall apart or anything. For reference I’m 5’10” and 155 lbs.
