Love the ability to adjust brewing strength
We have used the coffee maker several times and we like our coffee strong. The dial allows slowing the brewing process to act almost like a French Press getting the most out of the beans. The fast end brews more like "pour over" coffee which is much weaker.

Cool Coffee Pot
I got this Melitta touch screen coffee pot on a whim. Our old coffee pot had a lot of scale buildup and residue all over and inside the coffee pot. No help for it. Got this one instead. It's a normal 10 cup 2 hour shut-off drip system. I love coffee and now I'm glad I'm able to preset everything the night before and have it programmed to start automatically! Nice touch screen, don't have to worry about sticking buttons. Must use cone filters

Nice coffee maker
Nice coffee maker. Nothing extremely special about it though. I was disappointed in the clock setting it works in military time so 24 hour setting instead of 12. Like really? My daughter worked in the ER so she always referred to military time ( not hard to figure out) but who wants to on the coffee maker? I mean great as an option, but not your only option. 24 hour time set easy enough to do, now you can set your timer to make coffee for you. With 2 hour auto shut off ( a must ) one less thing to worry about. I love my glass pots.. yes hate anything else, I like seeing how much is in my pot. The craft or pot pours easy no spills I like that. The lid lifts up you put in your grinds no swivel, mah.. don't matter to me either way. Maker comes with a nice little scoop. You can pick your strength of coffee regular or bold brew. 10 cup brew... nice it's in between a small 5 cup and a Large 12 cup. You can pour a cup while brewing still, yes it's a MUST! Who has time on some mornings to wait for a whole pot? It's a nice coffee maker. It works as it should don't scorch your brew.... some cheap brands scorch your beans making the taste different. So it's a nice medium with this drip pot coffee maker. All said and done it's pretty good.
