This machine is awful!
I've been using this specific model of espresso machine for years and years and have gotten updated models. This one is TERRIBLE! I bought it right before I went into the hospital for a hip replacement. I couldn't even figure out how to turn the machine on even after reading the booklet and no one else could either. So I couldn't use it for a month. Then I finally figured out how to turn it on and I don't like this particular machine at all! The clean button goes on and I haven't been able to use it properly to get it to clean. And this new type milk frother falls apart with the milk in it. I'm going to try to return it even tho the return window is over.

Great coffee, but with a few downsides
The Nespresso Lattissima makes excellent coffee drinks at home. The espresso is rich, flavorful, and always consistent, and the milk frother does a wonderful job for lattes and cappuccinos. I love being able to enjoy coffee shop–style drinks without leaving the house. What I enjoy: Very easy to use with one-touch buttons for different drinks. The milk carafe froths perfectly and is adjustable depending on how much foam you want. Cleaning is straightforward, and the automatic rinse for the milk system is very convenient. What could be better: • The capsules are expensive if you drink several cups a day. • The milk carafe needs frequent cleaning if you use it daily. Overall, I think it’s a fantastic machine if you really enjoy specialty coffee drinks at home, but the cost (both of the machine and the pods) makes it more of a luxury than an everyday essential.
