I have to admit I was afraid this table would be a little flimsy. I am glad I was wrong. This is a very strong, solid, good quality table. Lately I have been unhappy with the feel of the furniture that is available. All the wood feels plastic. I like that it comes with a leaf since I dont always need to seat that many people and i dont like the bulkiness of a table that large all the time. This is not the case with this table. It would fit 6 chairs with out the leaf and with the extension in it easily seats 8. I only got 4 chairs but you can see from the picture with the board in that you can easily fit an additional 4 chairs. Putting in the leaf was easy but since the table is heavy you do need a person on each side to pull it open and the leaf is quite heavy as well. There are locks underneath to keep it in place. The pattern on the table keeps you from seeing those rings that you get from hot items or glasses. It is also easy to clean with a damp cloth. The chairs look more plush then they actually are. From the look you would expect a much more cushion feel but when you sit it is very firm. This isn't to say they are uncomfortable because they are. Its just not what I expected. I love the light color of the fabric but stains are always a concern. They say the fabric is easy to clean but I have not had to yet. Over all I have to say I have zero complaints. This is a fantastic table and I think it will last for a long time.

Gorgeous dining set!
This Prescott Dining table and chairs set is absolutely gorgeous and functional with the additional leaf to expand the table for more seating if desirous. The wood grain texture on the table and the chair legs blended seamlessly to provide an aesthetically pleasing look to my dining room. The white glove delivery was also impeccable! The table was set up within minutes by adding the legs and the chairs arrived already set up. The fabric on the chair is of a good material and easy to clean. The chair cushion is firm but not too firm so you don't sink into it. Altogether this is an amazing dining set and one that will last for years to come.

Fine and delicate….
Definitely a beautiful dining set, very good quality. It's very heavy, and the color matches my other furniture perfectly. The chairs are super comfortable and very easy to clean. I ordered a set of four, but you can add few more chairs. The table has an option to make it larger, but since my family is four, I didn't open it completely. This set is very fine and delicate. In the future, I will buy two more chairs to make it longer.

Beautiful dining set
I absolutely love this dining table and chair set. My favorite part is the stunning Mappa Burl veneer of the table- photos don't do its unique, intricate pattern justice. The leaf extension is a fantastic addition, making it easy to expand the already generous table size when needed. (There's a lock underneath for opening the table, and the leaf is stored separately). The care instructions just indicate "wipe clean" so when cleaning up a spill, I wipe with a damp paper towel and then immediately follow by wiping with a dry towel. When the chairs first arrived, they felt a bit firm, but after some use, they've proven to be quite comfortable and a big upgrade from my previous chairs. While I typically prefer darker colored cushions, the sand tone complements the table quite well. I also opted for white glove delivery, and the service was excellent. The team even added gliders to the bottom of the furniture to prevent scratching the floor during everyday use. Since bringing this set into my home, my space feels more refined and elevated, and I truly love using it.

Absolutely stunning dining table!
I ordered this dining set on a whim just to try something different and classy to bring some life back into our old kitchen. I can honestly say I that was blown away from the outstanding Macy's white glove delivery service, to the quick and easy setup, and now enjoying the comfort and beauty of this gorgeous table set. It truly makes my kitchen feel so different and elegant. The wood is really beautifully made and the chairs are super comfy too!

Excellent table set
This table is great. It’s very modern and everything is made extremely well. There is also a great extension when needed. I believe this set will last many years. It’s made of very solid wood and will hold up very well.
