Versatile Dutch oven
This 4 quart cast iron Dutch oven is the perfect size for most meals. It can go from the stove to the oven. It is heavy but that’s to be expected being cast iron. The green color is like a muted olive color. It’s very pretty. I love the gold knob on top.

Good performance
It’s beautifully designed and cooks evenly—great for soups and baking. However, there were some scratches on the gold-plated knob right out of the box, which was disappointing for such a visually elegant piece. Still, it performs well overall.

Color is a little off but works great
First thing I noticed out of the box is the color. It’s a light gray with some beige to it. Not a big deal for me. The weight is a standard hefty weight you’d expect from a Dutch oven. The enamel looks and feels like it’ll last a long time though the glaze is a little uneven in places like the handles. I do wish the handle on the lid was a little more raised as it was a little tricky to lift while wearing oven mitts. The lid fits nicely within the base/bowl. I used the Dutch oven to bake sourdough bread (first time making bread) and it cooked exactly how I’d expect and want. It created an even crust that didn’t stick very much (my fault for not greasing the pan) and retained the best perfectly. The design is more modern in feel than the traditional round shape which is fun and also easier to store. Cleaning was a breeze, for a Dutch oven, and the same for drying by hand. All in all, I’d recommend!

Easy to clean and travels well.
Traveling dinner tonight in my 4 quart enameled cast iron square Dutch oven. No worries of your dinner getting cold . And you won’t spill a bit. Love the handles very sturdy and the color gray is very pretty. I like the heaviness of it, but not to heavy. The handles make it easy to manage. Spaghetti ravioli tonight, must try a cobbler this weekend. Cleans easy not sticking.

So versatile
This is such a heavy duty Dutch oven. It’s stylish and you can make so many things in it. It has great heat distribution and is great for everything from soups to roasts. This is perfect for all those comfort foods. Highly recommend!
