Very pretty purse but doesn't hold up

I purchased this purse, because I have a few other Steve Madden purses and I liked the style of this one. However, after using it for about 6 weeks, the handles are cracking and will not last much longer before they break. I don't fill it full, so it is not heavy, I usually carry a smaller purse, so there was a lot of empty room in it still. I am very disappointed it didn't hold up. I am not sure if I can take it back now, I just discovered the cracks the other day when I was putting my stuff in it to use it again.

Bad Quality

The only thing that's cute about this bag is the twilly. The bag itself is very cheap looking- not what I expected from Steve Madden. The quality looks like a off brand purse from Ross. The bag was creased bad. The gold hardware looks cheap and was not aligned right. I returned it.
