Not what I expected

I bought this pillow specifically for the materials used hoping for a more restful sleep. After 6 months of use, I'm finding that the pillow is flattening out. Also it's becoming heavier so it must be absorbing sweat. It does have a synthetic feel to it and it's not as comfortable as I was looking for.
