Motor powers up and down.

We have owned it for less than 1 month and the motor already needs replacing. I am not trusting or confident that it will last even 1 year. They have shipped us a new motor and are awaiting someone to come and put the new motor in.

Eliminated my backache in a few days

I have had my Ergo adjustable base for one week. Being able to elevate the feet, head and lumbar has improved my sleeping by about 10% I would estimate. The key reason I bought the base now is that I had a backache that was aggravated by having to get in and out of bed. Being able to elevate the head really solved that problem and eliminated my backache within a few days. It would be nice if the mattress didn't creep across the base after using the head and foot elevation for a few days. Maybe an edge along the base could keep the mattress from moving. That said, I'm 95+% happy with the base.

Ergo Smart Base

I really like this base. I had the Serta Motion III base, but never really used it. I definitely use the new Ergo Smart Base.

Nice

Base is good, just wish vibration was stronger, and wish whole bed would raise up or down

Hard to tuck in the sheets!

We purchased two Twin XL mattresses so we could have a firm and a medium. we also got 2 adjustable bases. There is a bracket at the foot of each mattress, presumably, to hold the mattress in place when adjusting the bed. This bracket makes it quite difficult to tuck in the sheets. It's a workout for us seniors!! There are also A LOT of uncovered wires under the bed for all the controls. We secured these with zip ties so our cats would not mess with them. On the plus side, we do like being able to adjust sides independently and have our own levels of firmness. We have not determined if we are actually sleeping better since we've only had the beds for 4 nights! Something else to consider if you plan to register your mattresses and bases. Get the serial numbers off of everything as the delivery guys are setting it up. Yoga moves and heavy lifting were required to locate these!
