Cover auto-shattered while resting in a cabinet
This pot was great, that is until the lid randomly shattered into a hundred pieces all on its own while sitting in a cabinet out of use.

Size is perfect.
Great size for a big batch of chili, chicken & dumplings, or soup. Large but still fits in my dishwasher without trouble.

Well made
Couldn't decide between 8 or 10qt. finally decided on the 10qt. The pot is very nice. Well made, some weight to it, I am 65 and it isn't too heavy for me to pick up full. (though my knee does protest). My simmer burner is well under the microwave/hood, not giving me a lot of room (and why I don't use my 12qt too much) This pan i have enough room to lift the lid and poke around in the pot. Very happy with my purchase.

Good pot for the price.
So far, this pot works well. 12-quarts is what I needed for a larger batch of soup. Does the job.

Solid and heats evenly. I did quite a lot of research on a commercial pot and finally added this to our equipment
