This design is reworked from a sidewall pattern housed in the Smithsonian, likely from the Arts and Crafts era. I love the rounded floral shapes and I made it in many shades of blue so it pairs with just about everything: navy, grey, camel, denim. I named it Taranto, after the seaside city in southern Italy. It felt right—historic, a little off the beaten path, and full of beauty.

100% silk twill: A soft, silky fabric traditionally used in men's tailoring. Characterized by a diagonal weave which makes it very durable. We use 14 momme silk, a heavier weight silk than many because it is supple enough to hold its shape.
Hand-rolled hems: For the ultimate in luxury and sophistication, our hems are hand-sewn.

Size & Fit
Large size: Approx. 17.5 x 17.5". This is the correct size to allow for many folding styles and it will not slide down into your pocket.
